This course is for:
- Migrants developing their listening skills in NZ English.
- Migrants wanting to speak with confidence and clarity.
- Migrants preparing for job interviews or wanting to gain promotion at work.
- Migrants interpreting between their first language and English.

Tangata Tiriti Workshops
34 people attended a Tangata Tiriti – Treaty People workshop – delivered by Dr. Ingrid Huygens, in March 2014. Participants included migrants from Italy, Ireland, Poland, the Philippines, El Salvador, Chile, Fiji, UK , USA, Bhutan, Myanmar, Taiwan, China and Vietnam, as well as New Zealanders, including Maori. 21 of these participants went on to do a further two day training and are now dedicated to delivering this workshop to migrants in the Nelson region on a regular basis.
